Accreditation & Licensing
Brissy Travel & Tours have the following in place:
- Booked Hire Service Licence (BHSL): All vehicles used for ride-booking hold a BHSL.
- Driver Authorisation (DA): All drivers hold a valid Booked Hire Driver Authorisation, which requires a criminal history check, medical check, and a driving history check.
- Eligibility: All drivers hold a current open or restricted Australian driver's licence, held for at least 12 months, and cannot be on a provisional or probationary licence.
- Signage: All vehicles display an approved ride-booking sign in the rear windscreen while in service.
- Operator Accreditation: Brissy Travel & Tours holds an operator accreditation licence.
Insurance (CTP)
All vehicles used for ride-booking have the correct Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance class.
- Class 26 CTP: This is specifically required for privately held, booked hire vehicles.

Vehicle Requirements
- Certificate of Inspection (COI): All vehicles have passed a safety inspection (COI) every 12 months.
- Vehicle Standards: All vehicles are passenger vehicles meeting strict safety standards.
- Registration: All vehicles are registered in Queensland.
- Compliance: TMR conducts audits to ensure compliance with these regulations.
Public Liability Insurance
- Comprehensive/Third-Party Property Insurance: All vehicles have dedicated ride-booking insurance that covers the vehicle and passengers.
